Hailing from Coleshill, Birmingham, Sam Woodfield is a young, up-and-coming artist, who is turning heads with his guitar playing ability. Managing to adapt his sound from soulful, laid-back jazz to the energetic, self-penned sound of ‘Subway Girl’, via silky sound of 'Chocolate Bars', Sam has his sights set on big things. 

Sam’s eclectic range of influences include musical greats such as Mark Knopfler, John Frusciante, Noel Gallagher, Prince, Eric Clapton and John Mayer, as well as the more contemporary sounds of Frank Ocean, Loyle Carner and Drake.

At just 17 years of age, Sam is studying for Trinity College London’s ‘Grade 7’ in guitar, has gained a distinction in BTEC Level 2 Music, performed live on stage at some of Birmingham's iconic venues including The Jam House, The Sunflower Lounge and Victoria Square. Sam currently studies Music at the renowned Birmingham Ormiston Academy.

Sam’s drive and passion to entertain coupled with his burgeoning musical ability surely add up to the recipe for enviable success.
